We are members of the Prairielands Boy Scout council and of the diocese of Peoria. We are a relatively new troop having been created in the year 2000 with 8 scouts. We have grown since then to over 40 scouts and are proud to have many Eagle Scouts. The troop meets each Tuesday evening from 7:00 pm to 8:30 pm in the multipurpose room of St. Matthew School. We also have a monthly troop activity or camping trip. Our Scouts have been to Philmont Scout Ranch in Cimeron, New Mexico, Boundary Waters, whitewater rafting in West Virginia, and the National Jamboree in Virginia. Although we are chartered by a Roman Catholic parish, Troop 121 has members of many religious faiths. Any boy either 11 years of age, or who has earned their Arrow of Light award is warmly welcomed to visit and consider joining in the excitement that is Troop 121.
